As a part of the preparation phase of our Young Service Steward Program, in the first quarter of the year, we have invited local NEETs to individual and focus group discussions at every planned implementation location (12 locations in 4 countries). We talked with them about their goals, opportunities, motivations, and aspirations. The discussions focused on the same issues in each country based on a common questionnaire, which will help us to develop a more tailored training and learning program for them in the coming period of the project process.
We believe that the discussions were useful not only for ourselves, but also for the participating youngsters. We managed to gather a lot of useful information and build trust in our YSS Programme among the NEET youth interviewed at the local level.
