We have reached a milestone in the Young Service Steward programme for young people who are not in education, training or employment!
The first group of young people, who started in February, are slowly being released, as most of them have found jobs or decided to continue their studies or get a new job. We felt it was important to report on the results achieved and the experience gained to local institutions and organisations involved in this field.
Representatives of the Neumann János University, the Employment Department of the Bács-Kiskun Government Office, the Directorate of Health and Social Institutions, the Hajnalcsillag School, the Hírös Youth Association, the Hírös Agóra Youth Development Association were present at our dissemination event. Not only did we share local experiences with the participants, but we also looked at the international scene and talked about other local implementation in Hungary.
The programme will continue and we are still waiting for new participants for our second (and last) group.
